 Sledge Hockey Sunday
Come see the Acadia Axemen hockey team play a game of sledge hockey with our local sledge hockey team!
Watch the game from 3:15 - 4:00 and following the game, enjoy a free skate with the Axemen and an opportunity to try the sleds with the sledge hockey team!
Games for kids, FREE Tim Horton’s coffee, hot chocolate and timbits and many draws for amazing prizes! Grand prize draws for a signed painting of Gordie Howe by Don Burry of Port Williams and an Axemen hockey jersey signed by the entire team!
Free admission with donation at the door going towards a wheelchair lift for the SRMK building.

Great results from our AMHA teams and an AMHA player playing in West Hants this year in Christmas tournaments across the Province!!!!!
Currently we have had our PW A team, Bantam B team, Atom AAA and our PW House Murphy team win the championships in the 9th Annual AMHA Christmas Tournament!!! Congrats to Coach Gordon, Coach Ward, Coach Bennett and Coach Murphy / Garagan on a very successful tourney!!
Our Bantam House teams won silver (Garagan) and a Bronze (Cahoon)!! Congrats out to Coach Garagan and Coach Cahoon, great job guys!!
Our Atom House team # 3 won the Bronze too!! Congrats to Coach Reid, great job!!
Our Novice Intermediate Team went undefeated....great job Coach Deluney!!
We have another AMHA player currently playing for West Hants PW AA team, with a great story...Taylor Dauphinees' team won the Championship game at the TASA Tourney and Taylor was the game MVP for the Championship game!! Congrats to Taylor and the WH PW AA Team!!
Our Midget A team won the Silver in the TASA Tourney in a "Hard Fought Barn Burner" Championship game!! Congrats to Coach Trimper on another job well done!!
Our Atom Female Team won Gold at the Eastern Shore Christmas Tourney!! Congrats to Coach Miller and a job well done!! Many Thanks to Chasity for the updates!!!
In Kentville on December 30th we had our 1st ever Novice Female team play a team from TASA two games!! It was a great treat to watch and all involved had a blast!! We had a pizza party for the players after the 2nd game and from all accounts it was a pleasure to witness the day unfold!! Thanks to Chasity Jodrey, Paul Murphy and Doug Eaton for looking after the event!!
I have just been informed that our PW B team played in the Championship game in Lunenburg and won the Gold in another OT victory!! Congrats to Coach Myalls on a great job!!
Our Atom A, Atom B and PW House Hiltz team won the Bronze today!! Great job and Congrats Coach Curry, Coach Barkhouse and Coach Hiltz on another big day!! Well done gents!!
Our Acadia Bantam A won silver in a 4 to 1 loss to Bedford at The Alan Floyd Xmas Tournament. Great job Coach Ueffing on another successful event!!
